I am a Freshman at this school.In H.s. I failed every class
because I had no motivation, belief in my self and did not understand the fact that there is a possibility that something good an be taken out of school.I considerd LaGuardia because it has many majors and the school is very well put together. The good things about this school is the people. They are so friendly and when you walk down the hall ways theres always approachable people with smiles on their faces im not saying its some rediculous happy land but its definitely full of people that really want to learn, grown, and exel in life.in Laguardia people are determined with the exeption of a few. Also there are soooo many differnt people in laguadria.I love that about the school.I also love the computer labs, library, cafeteria, gym and alot of other things the school has to offer. The teachers give you their office hour time so you can visist them if you need extra help and if they arent availible you can just stop by the LAB with a tutor always willing to help, at times though the tutors can be a bit impersonal and loud, in example the first week of class I went because I had problems with long division because my weakness is math and I was veyr behind. The tutor was very loud and every one in the lab was looking at me ( yeah i was embarassed). Thats one of the bad things.Honestly i have absolutely no problem with laguadia and if this was a 4 year school id be the happiest person :D Seriously the school is good and it is truely helpful.Im still not getting A's but my 75's and 80's make me feel good compared to the 55's i was getting in H.s. My Advice would be to Focus on school, Go to the LABs and office hours as much as you can,Be on time and always come to class, study and have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! any questions what so ever about the school please contact me at
Take care!!!!

Anyone attending any of the Cuny two year colleges should consider Laguardia. The classes are fun and challenging and should be easily passed with some effort. Good grades are not extremely hard to get in this school, just don't be absent. The atmosphere is cool but mainly the school serves its purpose, to help you get good grades to advance to the next university.
