Honestly,I got in because it seemed friendly.Much to my surprise the opportunies it extends to the sudents are great.I had this idea that just because its a community college it would trap me in,but no on the contrary it has made me thrive!.

Its up to the student thought...for example there are tons of leadership seminars ,cultural events, academic programs etc that can make your life so meaninfull and rich(considering you take them) plus they are all free! It has amazing trasnfer programs with good universities and top tier universities! such a grat opportunityin my opinion.

Good technology, amazing cultural background being the most dicerse campus in New York and if Im not wrong the whole world!... good professors, the enviroment of classes if very personalized, its not like in some institutions where you neter the class and you feel like in an stadium..

Great honors porgram ,lots of clubs and organizations(you can create your also) has some food alternatives in and out around...

All and all, if you are a lazy student it this review doesn?t mater you can get here work hard until you get a C passing score and thats it ....(most majors like Nursing require you a 3.9-4.0 very competitive) But if you are really thinking in your future, come here and make use of the programs and opportunities offered.

Not so bright
LaGuardia Community College of the City University of New York is a scandal waiting to explode. You are invited to visit www.Laguardiacorruption.com to see the deleterious effect of administrative corruption on education and, in particular, how cronyism, rampant grade inflation, fraudulent course material and fraudulent remedial exams have rendered the Mathematics and English Departments dysfunctional. With more than 155,000 visits to date, the website aims to inform all colleges, education associations, interested taxpayers, elected officials and news media in the New York City vicinity.
