This is my second semester here. Its a okay school, good amount of work courses but its the people that come here that ruins the school. Some teachers are reallly hard and some are easy. The advisers dont know anything and wont help you with anything. Theres no place to sit in the cafeteria, there are chairs and tables outside, but who wants to sit outside during winter? The campus is located in the middle of nowhere. The buses are always crowded with H.S students trying to get to flushing. So just a word of advice- Study, get a good gpa, and transfer.

This is a really good community college, the coursework is actually more challenging than it was a at senior college. The faculty are qualified and knowledgeable and approachable. You have to work very hard to get A's.The downsides to Queensborough are that the cafeteria sucks, there are no shops right by the college, and it's not on a train line or subway line. The buses tend to be very crowded and you fight for a spot on the bus at night. Also, attending every class is a MUST as you can be failed for missing more than 3 classes.

Okay this is my First semester in QCC and i love everything about this school. The faculty are amazingly helpful and want nothing more then to see you succeed.& for the most part all the students here are smart and cool but of course in every school you have the idiots that do nothing but start trouble but thats just college I guess. The most important thing I have to say is that the work is super hard!I know a lot of people going to a community college think that O since its a c.c. there wont be much work and the little work you get will be simple. NO. I've had more work in this one semester of college then in 4 years of high school so dont think you can come here and slack it until you get to a four year school. I actually have friends who go to private colleges and when we compared the amount of work we got and how hard it was. guess what I had the hardest course load! so just prepare yourself to work hard and you'll love it here.
