I transferred to DYC as a junior intoBrightNursing
I transferred to DYC as a junior into their nursing program. It was one of the best decisions I ever made even though there are some things I wish I could change about my program. I wish I could graduate earlier, but the clinical schedule does not allow that to happen. The campus is small, but with it being located in the city there is so much to do! Because it is a small school, professors are able to help us individually to achieve the necessary skills, and I never feel uncomfortable asking for help if I need it. Plus, we are planning a trip to a third world country where we can utilize our skills and make a difference. I made so many friends and I know I will always stay in touch with them. Your experience at DYC is going to be what you make it. I think that I made the right choice to commute and live off campus; the dorms kind of suck and the apartments are super strict.

D'Youville is a great college for health majors.BrightHistory/Histories (art history/etc.)
D'Youville is a great college for health majors. Liberal arts students that come here should realize that in some classes you may need to challenge yourself, choosing the essay topics that are difficult ect. DYC offers lots of service opportunities, even traveling out of the state. The campus is constantly being improved, and is much prettier when its not snowy.

This school is much better than before.Quite Bright
This school is much better than before. Major renovations of the school have been done, replacing study areas with new furniture, more saftey precautions, and much more. They are rebuilding a large building to house programs that have grown. I recently noticed that a bathroom that was not wheelchair assessable previously was made so. The school is also buliding a stadium for what I believe is baseball, lacrosse, football, and soccer. Certainly will up the fun on campus. Should be done soon. Regarding the city campus in wintery oasis of Buffalo, Yes. It does get cold, but most buildings are linked or very close. As to crime, I have seen less and less people hanging out on the streets, probably due to the more upscale middle class development going on through the whole city. Also, they offer HCOP, HEOP, and have a great "disability" office. If your into volunteer work, they always have stuff to do. Almost everyone gets a scholarship, and first time freshman get work study. Take a visit. P.S. we at Dyc see the president of the college AT places. Not just in the office or meetings or 3 times a year.
