Overall, Elmira College is a good college. The students and faculty are nice and friendly. However, sometimes the Adminstration focuses more on selling Elmira college than on education.

Elmira College is a school with a lot of spirit. It does take a special person to fit the mold of EC. It is a residential school and students are required to live on campus for all 4 years. It is not a suitcase campus either. During your first year, you have a class on Saturday morning. Some extra programs for the Freshman are a waste of time. But, all in all, I really enjoyed the atmosphere the College provided.

It's a great college. Sure, the surrounding city isn't all that great, but with such a great atmosphere, friends, and on campus activities, you don't mind too much. The falculty is amazing, and the campus is small so you know and make lots of friends. The traditions keep the campus alive.
