The film course is useless because it isn't very diverse, and consists of 50% non-relative classes. If you want to be a cinematographer or director, you may get 50% of what you are looking for, but any other aspect of film making is nearly absent, and requires you to educate yourself entirely. The president of this school is greedy and unproductive at best. The security guards harass you at the entrance for an ID, you can't play guitar in the cafe (this is an arts school by the way) and nearly every course you take is identical, if not completely irrelevant. Overall, this school is the last place I would recommend and not nearly worth the money. I am simply here for the degree which "looks" good on my resume. These people are either not a music student or are people who did not apply themselves and wanted a party school. This in not a party school nor are there fraternities and sororities. This school is an amazing music school. I have learned so much. There are many opportunities to build a resume (Student Government, Clubs, Radio Show host, if you write music and it's good enough the ensembles may perform them at concerts, and much much much more). DO NOT listen to the terrible reviews, this school is AMAZING. It prepares you for the real world, especially in the music education department.
