I have mixed feelings about HCCC. The actual college programs and teachers are good but the students who attend this college are mostly jocks or drunks who wish to get drunk every night. I found the college students to be very cliquey, rude and closed-minded. If you do end up at HCCC DO NOT live in the student housing across from the college unless you are willing to party every night. If you wish to focus on your studies this is not the college housing for you. I have had several problems with this housing and the campus safety has been no help to me. I will not be returning to HCCC next semester. HCCC is best for students who live in the area and will live at home.

My advice is if you want to come to this college for broadcasting or music then you should. Any other major is pointless and your better of at another school. Live on campus that is how you are going to meet friends. This is a party school so expect to enjoy your weekends. It does get cold so make sure you bring jackets to keep yourself warm. Most of the students here are from New York City and Long Island so it's a very social school. Pick campus meadows as your on campus housing you don't want to deal with the College Hill housing.

please do not go here HCCC is the worst school ever. Its like all of the hood decided to go here and they all know each other. Making friends will not happen as everyone is fake, liars, and are in cliques. Parties suck!! all the parties are waaay more boys then girls, I mean waaaaaaay more. Its ridiculous. The teachers do not care if you pass or fail, but will help you in the right direction until you fuck up, and of course you are on your own
