Not so bright
Dear prospective student ! Listen to what all these other reviews Are telling you . I didn't listen And I lost out on over 3000 dollar . The math and chem is ridiculous . You have to take these courses to get into nursing. They make you take intro to Chem organic chem and bio chem in 5 weeks . They don't help you don't give you any advice and want you to fail. they make you take a bogus nursing skills course which is so dumb . You watch videos all day and do what a nurse already do. The commute is terrible you'll spend hours and hours in LIE traffic pay 15 for tolls and barely ever find street Parking and will have to spend 10 additional. Dollars on parking . These people are ride and nasty they don't care about there students . The material is difficult only because they push so much on you . Do not try to work fulltime it will backfire . It's a quick one year program but you will cry as they make you beg to graduate . Every Person I have come across here is very unprofessional. These problem lost my money order and expected me to repay the course . Sooooo unorganized it's disgusting . Thu add material when ever they fell like it . I'm only saying this so u don't waste your money not to discourage you ! Many people it math and chem were repeating the course that's how hard they make it . Not only was my class failing the other class's as well and they don't care it's not there problem !! Just know if this is tour juice be ready for no lige and a year or so worth of Misery , tears and bullshit

This is the most disorganized school I have been too. If you are in a rush to finish you RN do not go there. The rules keep changing. You do not have adequate choices in professors and some courses you only have one professor. So if you do not understand that professor or not happy with that class you don't have a choice. The motto should be I don't want the students to pass. Please listen to others. This is the worst choice.

If you don't have to go here don't!!! The comments of the previous people are very true, HFCN does not care about you and they don't know how to teach. Dr Paul is the only good Prof there hands down, he teaches all the others are there cause their spouse doesn't want them home(just to put it nice). Professors with high pass rates in their class get fired or moved to being clinical instructors. The Roy Adaptive model is BS half of the prof and clinical instructors don't know anything about it today they will say something is correct and tomorrow its wrong. The non nursing staff is friendly for the most part the nursing staff(Prof, advisors and some clinical instructors) are rude and don't care about whether you pass or fail and the one or two that do will be reprimanded for it. I don't recommend this school to anyone, there are better schools out there if this is your only choice go in there looking for help on the outside, focus and do what you have to do.
