 | Super Brilliant | | Hi all, There are many different attitudes that you can take as an approach to education. You can be one of the losers that breeze through and are only present to satisfy someone else. Then there are those that are there, competing every day, challenging themselves to get 100% on everything and anything possible, and taking the time to understand the material. If you are not one of these people, you will not be successful at ANY university. I had my bad moments at ITT, trust me, I got an Instructor FIRED for being an idiot. Yet, regardless, it is because of the education I received at ITT that cetain doors opened. I followed up the A.S. with the B.S. program, and got promoted from a Technician to an Engineer (With some work and convincing). I have worked hard to learn all the things that were not quite presented so well, and have found success. I make a extremely competitve salary, and have not had any issues getting a job. I graduated Valedictorian from my programs, and it has paid off. I do understand that there are those that have been pushed to graduate, and thrown into the world to make it more challenging for the individuals who are valued. I feared this as well, seeing some of the products that graduated, I felt the need to prove myself. But if you think about it, there are many idiots at EVERY school - graduating. Instead of going on and on: I did not think the value of education was great, but it does give you the opportunity and edge to get ahead in life, if you apply yourself properly. Learning to find answers is better than having to memorize all the answers.AK | Education Quality: A+, Social Life: F | | | |

| | | ITT is one the worst schools i have ever attended. The teachers teach classes they don't even hold degrees in.Their isn't any stability to be found with hirings and firings occurring on a regular basis. I have seen ever position in the school including the dean get replaced at least 3 times. The current associate dean only holds a bachelors in business. The books are useless shells a waste of a tree. The computers are completely outdated and damage prone. The campus is the size of an apartment building and they only have one security guard who patrols at nite for 4 hours.I hope this is enough to keep any one else from falling for this trap. | Preparedness: -, Reputation: - | | | |

| | Bright | This was the worst place ever. The teachers were good, most don't know that they were treated just as badly as the students. The education is one sided, the multimedia was fine if all you want to do is animation. Were taught alot that wasn't needed. School is run like a corporation, they don't care at all about the students or employees. ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY. I have left and went to another school. I had to retake classes because I didn't really learn much there. Also 95% of other schools will not take their credits. ITT has been suited because of false advertising. I left there was a 3.95 gpa so I did work hard. The school will do everything and anything you take advantage of you. They will lie to you about everything to get your money. The only classes worth taking are their IT, (maybe new construction management), and some Electrical students said not worth it. If all you want is an Associate degree, or just need some paper saying you went to school then fine, however if you are looking to start a new future start it some where else !!!!!!!!! | Perceived Campus Safety: A, Education Quality: F | | | |
