I attended as a transfer student from ageKinesiology
I attended as a transfer student from age 27-29. Majored in Sport Science, Minor Sport Management. Completed 6 business/sport management classes. Completed two internships Brooklyn Nets/NY Islanders Sales intern and Brooklyn Health and Performance the latter I gained through an alumni of the school. Most important class I completed at LIU BK was Intro to Entrepreneurship. The director of Entrepreneurship is a black women with an MBA from Stern and B.S. from Wharton. One of the most brilliant people I have ever come across in life. The Dean of the business school holds a PH.D. MBA. and BBA from Columbia. Take advantage of the professors and deans they're willing to help mature, driven individuals. The faculty will not plug you with their connects if you cannot demonstrate you're value (i.e hard skills and soft skills) you possess. You pay this tuition for the network and internships.

Question
So I was very excited about being acceptedSuper BrilliantAccounting
So I was very excited about being accepted for an Accounting course at LIU however after completing my interview at the US consulate in South Africa I had to secure housing with LIU, and that's where the problems began. One thing Ive noticed about the staff at LIU is most of them do not care about the students. The woman in charge of residence life and the lady that deals with on campus accommodation, Anna Zinko is terrible at her job. She would constantly ignore my emails and calls. I was able to get through to her once only to schedule an appointment with her for the next day at 3:30pm, I called her the next day at 3:30pm and guess what? she wasn't available even though she is the one who chose the 3:30pm time alot. I'm yet to start school at LIU and I'm already frustrated with the staff. This is going to be an interesting year.

Question
So where do I start about LIU, LIUSuper BrilliantFinance
So where do I start about LIU, LIU will lie to you about everything. They are losing money, are a non-for profit, they don't have all the programs they say they have. The Cafeteria has been shut down three times, Financial Aid will steal your money. classes will vanish in thin air, You will never graduate unless you're rich or extremely lucky. Infact if you're not rich and pursuing pharmacy, Just don't go! Also for $1362 a credit, i should be challenged! If You plan on staying on campus a year might roughly cost you about 60-75k! Even my own counselor told me to go somewhere else! in order to leave you have to pay money you never owed and take, Phyc 1-2, history 1-2, sociology, philosophy 1-2, physics, stats human bio and tech, technology class, chem 1-2,art,and 9 credits of english. They threaten us if we go to the press or write in the school paper. Its really corrupt, I feel sad everytime i see new students on campus. Oh and any student thats an RA or in student gov no longer gets free housing or money towards their tuition starting this year.
