VERY cliquey, if you dont meet friends within the first few weeks. you will be lonely. I did happen to meet an amazing group of people. I am from brooklyn, and have been at LIU on severeal occasions. but first-hand its never what I thought it would be. the parties are wack. the teachers are unhelpful.. a wackjob student tried to burn the school down, the following day a riot occured on campus. SGA is a JOKE. everyone smokes weed every single day! (I didnt mind that so much). A girl got raped on campus and the school didnt do ANYTHING but put the boy in different housing (hoyt) which is the best besides the graduate dorms. Connolly hall is a MESS. numerous occasions feces in the shower, bloody pads on the floor. cleaning staff doesnt do anything.. one of them lives in the building. nothing is ever fixed, i've gotten stuck in the elevator so many time for over 30 minutes. girls are nasty. the Cafe food sucks! unless rosa makes your sandwich and only let nicole make your eggs. and the list goes on ... and onnn and onnn but once youre off campus go have a ball Preparedness: -, Reputation: - Have a Question?
