This could perhaps be THE WORST private institution in the United States for the amount of money that you are paying. For a school that you have to pay 30K for, you really would expect more. The conditions of the school are atrocious with the buildings practically falling apart, and do not even get me started on the dorms. Other than the newest building, Pratt, the rest of the campus is not worth more your money. The professors as stated before are a dime a dozen in terms of useful and the university is just terrible. Believe me, even if you are doing pharmacy DO NOT come here. Go to St. Johns, Rutgers, ANYWHERE but here.

lIU is a private university and is very expensive. You Do Not get your moneys worth here at LIU. Their office staff are slower than government offices and the knowledge of their staff in the field they work is very poor. The class rooms don't have air conditioning. The library filled with old dusty books and new editions are scarce. I was very disappointed at the quality of this university.

Not so bright
Where can I start???
Security-The guards are very friendly and helpful. They do their job 90% of the time.
Administration- Very bad. You would spend hours and hours in long lines and you would have to make 80 phone calls for one thing. Try to get everything done as EARLY as possible.

Dorms-Terrible. RA's fake.
Students- Most are very helful and friendly. Some are racist and have cliques. Pharmacy is a cut throat program. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Professors-Expect to study your brains out. Most of them are very friendly, Chemistry professors are arrogant.

Food- Depends on who makes it you would love it or HATE it.Area-Lots of stores and food.
Innovation: A+, Collaboration/Competitive: F
