In fact they didn't process my tuition until the last month of my semester. I did not get certified in education because they neglected to inform me of a state test I needed! From the reviews that I've read, I will admit that Post is primarily a commuter school and that you have to work to find your own fun. If you're looking to be entertained 24-7, you're probably not going to find that anywhere. Being from out of state, I made friends with other students from out of state and eastern Long Island and we spent our weekends at clubs, bars, the mall, and NYC. I had a great time and since I used this opportunity to live away from home, I learned how to grow up as well. I felt as if I received a solid education and had only one bad professor. As far as interacting with the administration, you have to keep in mind that they spend a majority of the day dealing with students that have a sense of self-entitlement. My advice is to be polite and use good manners when interacting with older adults and you will be fine. That's how I got a loan replaced with a grant and a scheduling error that would have prevented me from graduating was immediately corrected (with an apology).
