they suck. they don't tell you the tests you need or the required courses and do not mail things out. In fact they didn't process my tuition until the last month of my semester. I did not get certified in education because they neglected to inform me of a state test I needed!

I had great professors in History, since I was a history ed major but apparently they had bette professors before I attended- and they pay their professors like crap and they go one strike every 3 years- yet the president of the college, has a private helicopter, limo and driver..nice!

I graduated from Post in 2002, so I write this with some real world perspective. From the reviews that I've read, I will admit that Post is primarily a commuter school and that you have to work to find your own fun. If you're looking to be entertained 24-7, you're probably not going to find that anywhere. Being from out of state, I made friends with other students from out of state and eastern Long Island and we spent our weekends at clubs, bars, the mall, and NYC. I had a great time and since I used this opportunity to live away from home, I learned how to grow up as well.

I felt as if I received a solid education and had only one bad professor.
As far as interacting with the administration, you have to keep in mind that they spend a majority of the day dealing with students that have a sense of self-entitlement. My advice is to be polite and use good manners when interacting with older adults and you will be fine. That's how I got a loan replaced with a grant and a scheduling error that would have prevented me from graduating was immediately corrected (with an apology).
Collaboration/Competitive: A+, Scholastic Success: F
