DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS SCHOOL! Apparently nobody who works there ever knows anything. Somehow I slipped through the cracks and they're listing me as having graduated the semester after I actually did. I am beyond angry, but apparently I should "just let it go since there's nothing that can be done". Most of the staff and faculty act as if they're doing you a favor if and when they actually help you out even though it's their job to do this! Nothing positive to say about this school at all, I've had much better experiences at other colleges!

Other

Since cost is very important, I will say that this school is extremely expensive at almost $1000/credit (graduate level). There also seems to be an inside joke within the student body that this school accepts just about anyone that is willing to pay the tuition. That said, I must say that this school was exremely convienient for the full-time worker that wants to go back for their Master's at night. Generally, most graduate degree programs are relatively short (30-36 credits) and I completed mine in just under 2 years part time. The program that I was in also did not require me to take the GRE. So in summary, I wasn't thrilled at the bill that had to be paid every semester, but I am appreciative of this school for allowing me to redeem myself from a mediocre undergraduate academic performance.

I regret having decided to pursue a graduate degree at this institution; it is a complete joke. If you consider yourself intellectually curious, capable of intelligent conversation and interested in your academic/professional career, DO NOT attend LIU.I will definitely be transferring.

Education

The cost is extremely expensive. The faculty are the strongest
factor of going to CW Post. Some students are friendly, but over 95% are cold, and self absorbed. The faculty works hard in all aspects of your training. The students who are brighter than average seem to think they are at MIT, or Princeton. The student body, high cost, and the lack of proper maintence on old buildings is a negative. The new Pratt center is a bonus. There are also faculty strikes often, if that sort of thing bothers you.
