Let me say I feel that there are many pros and cons to Manhattanville. I was an average student in high school, i did not have an outstanding GPA but I was friendly and did a lot of volunteer work. I always wanted to go to Manhattanville because it was an hour from my house so it was far enough to dorm but close enough to see my family and boyfriend as I pleased. Also I do very much like the campus at Manhattanville. I do find it clean and to be pretty. It's an average sized campus and one thing I was worried about however was not getting a good experience because it is a smaller school. However; this was not a problem to me. The small environment helped me to make closer friends and for us to meet new people from different schools. Everyone is overall pretty friendly here. I took education at Manhattanville. I am happy with the program so far and the teachers are very polite and friendly. The course work is not challenging however; so if your looking to spend long nights studying and a lot of time on difficult work then you wont be able too - its pretty easy. Coming from me though; this was a little bit of a turn off because I was hoping to get a little more of my money's worth and to be at least somewhat challenged by my school work. Although the only MAJOR con I have about this school is the dorming. Avoid it if possible. I had a very bad experience with it and now am living at home until my boyfriend and I can afford an apt. Between the drinking and drugs and of course the sex its hard to focus. Not only that the dorms here are not so clean as the rest of the campus. But besides dorming and the not so challenging school work I am enjoying my college life and it has been a pretty good experience.

Super Brilliant
Manhattanville is amazing and a truly special place. I was unsure at first, as I thought I should have gone to a larger school, but Mville was the perfect size. Faculty are at the top of their field and EXTRAORDINARILY SUPPORTIVE of students. Classes are small, which is a good thing. The campus is beautiful, and the atmosphere on campus is a combination of laid back and energetic. Dorms are kind of awesome (maybe not as beautiful as dorms at some larger universities, but I really enjoyed my experience in dorm life) and the food is pretty fantastic, considering it's college campus food. There's an energy on campus that excites students and faculty to do good work and to enjoy it too.

Quite Bright
I graduated from here in 2011. For the price tag on Manhattanville College, they sure don't have a lot of resources. All the classes are in one building. For the same price, you could go to a big university that has separate buildings for each science major to host LABS and EQUIPMENT. This school is also not challenging at all, I never studied except in my Math courses and got by with B's and A's. The faculty are bitter towards each other, which is completely inappropriate.Manhattanville College offers various scholarships, which is one of the reasons I decided to attend. Honestly, I just wish I took out a student loan instead.
