It is a first-rate institution with excellent academics and some of the finest faculty around. One of its strongest attributes is its small size and intense techniques of music program...it is not a factory like so many other schools. Mannes gave me a fantastic musical foundation and the confidence and skills to move on to a great graduate school and a wonderful college teaching job. I would do it all again if a had to make a choice! There is no other place quite like it....if you are looking for music schools, seriously check it out.
