If you're a rich gay guy or a rich white girl, this school is for you. If you're a minority, middle class and/or straight person, DO NOT COME HERE. This school is terrible, as an African American female, i constantly feel left out at this school. Unless you're a flamboyant person, you will not be noticed here. The school is made up of 50% gay men, 48% women and 2% straight guys. If you're a straight girl, don't come here expecting a boyfriend, all you will get is a gay best friend. The students here are arrogant, snobby and lazy. I can also say the same about the faculty. The school is ridiculously over priced and not worth it at all. Sure, living in NYC is awesome, but even that gets boring after a while. DO NOT GO HERE. I plan on transferring as soon as I get the chance.

Quite Bright
I went to this school being extremely excited, mostly about the idea of a small school in the big city of New York. On the campus tours, everyone seemed really friendly and kept saying that everyone is like a "big family" at the school. I also liked the freshman dorms on 55th street since they have their own kitchen and bathroom in each room. Unfortunately, this has turned out to be the worst experience of my life. For one, the classes are not very challenging. I am a pretty bright person and to me it seems like they just accepted anyone who applied. The fact that freshmen live on 55th street and the main building where classes take place is on 72nd is also a hassle, especially in the really cold weather. I have to spend most of my money on a MetroCard so I can use the bus every morning. The majority of students at the school seem to be extremely stuck-up and pretentious. Everyone goes out to fancy clubs every weekend to dance and spend way too much money on drinks. Since it's so hard to find decent people, I try to go home as much as I can to avoid sitting in my room in complete boredom. I'm transferring out as soon as this year is over. So to sum this all up, if you are a decent person, DO NOT go to this school.
