Super Brilliant
I Hate Niagara University with a passion... uuggghhh where do I start!?!? Niagara falls is worse than buffalo!! Growing up in the suburbs it was a shock to see how bad the city is.... If you want to go out sure go on and take the 30 minute drive to downtown buffalo and risk coming back to campus drunk driving over 2 huge bridges and nothing but highway... If you are not a rich white catholic boy or an african american basketball player... be prepared to be a lame.... This school is horrible.... && not worth the money at all. I would rather go to a SUNY school than this. I am transferring and I am only a freshman... this school drove me nuts. There are not even that many students here... in the middle of the semester 100 students dropped out.... almost the whole population lol. Save your money!!!

Professors are wonderful and care about you and your grade. Most tend to look at a student and what they have learned and will reward grades accordingly. For example if an "B" is 400 points and a "B+" is 450 points, and you earned 440, but went to all the classes and participated a professor is likely to give you a "B+" However, if you never went to class or didn't talk and you got 449 points you'd get a "B".

Class sizes are extremely small. My largest class was 45 my smallest was 6, average was about 30. Small classes can provide anyone who opens their mouth with more knowledge than a syllabus can outline. You get alot more out of classes when you can ask questions, and many professors welcome off the beat questions so you're often learning what you want to learn.

NU defiantly is run by the class system socially. There are the Rich Kids, the Athletes, the ROTC, the "from a real City", the Canadians, the theater kids, the kids with jobs, and everyone else.

There isn't much to do off campus but social circles are usually strong. I was in both the theater kids circle and the kids with jobs circle and it was always fun. Clubs are cheap often $10-25 a semester(except club sports and frat/sororities) and I had many great experiences with music, hiking, radio show, leadership, religions events, game nights and other things.
