This school is not even worthy of beingQuite BrightPreLaw and Legal
This school is not even worthy of being called a school; its more of a "hustle". All they care about is fleecing you for the maximum amount of financial aid they can get from you. The teachers are people who needed jobs and you get the sense (with the exception of Mr. Davis, who has retired; Ms. Apple Bey who is a real "professor" and is wasting her talent and intelligence there instead of teaching at a REAL school and Dr. Desurian, who teaches Medical Terminology) that they have bills to pay and if they didn't, they wouldn't even bother resigning. They would just not come back.

The graduation rate is abysmal. Nobody graduates from here in less than three years unless they are like some Rainman, idiot savant type with no family, job or anything else to do but teach themselves the material.

Before you sign up and start paying your money, PLEASE talk to some current students. Please ask about graduation rates and please, please, please talk to Mr. Putnam, in the career services office, about placement rates. He's a great guy but he's up against certain realities the shark selling you an admission will never tell you about. This school is a waste of money and the shenanigans with financial aid will make your blood pressure go thru the ceiling. STAY AWAY.

Question
This training center is geared to help studentsNot so bright
This training center is geared to help students with an interest in pursuing a career in medical office management and paralegal field; but is primarily focused on court reporting students. The curriculum is not challenging. Seventy-five percent of the staff (teachers and administration) are unavailable/unwilling to assist most of the time. I have had several issues academically, financially, etc. And the staff seems to have a "deer in the headlights" look on their faces. This school is currently $4k a trimester and so not worth it. I would only suggest a student looking to pursue any of the above mentioned careers to attend this school if they live in NYC or within a 25-30 minute commute; a commute longer than this is not worth the time, effort, and cost of the travel. I travel three hours a day (roundtrip) to attend this school and it has been the biggest waste of time and money ever. The administrative staff likes to sell you things that are so unnecessary and hard on a lot of students financially. Such as a new steno machine instead of a well used one. They push this $2300 machine on barely working and unemployed students; encourage them to include it into their financial aid or student loan which is just wrong. Don't think twice about it- do NOT attend this school, especially for court reporting!
