Current student, prospective student and whoever might beQuite BrightNursing
Current student, prospective student and whoever might be reading this, please hear what I have to say. The reason you are here, reading this, is because maybe you are interested in NYiT, which I commend you for doing as your search for a school. Others may be current students looking for some input on there current experience. There are some peculiar positive reviews on here which warrant the schools involvement and also some comments written in anger.

Now let me get to the point. I am a real current student, that drives to school everyday, I have an id number and attend classes. I speak for many of the students here and within in my program (nursing) that it has been quite the headache attending NYiT. I am going to have to side with the negative comments, most definitely. Do not attend the nursing program here. Please listen to me. There are so many other great schools in the area where you can get a great education and be happy. SCCC (associate program), Farmingdale, Adelphi, Molloy and more. Take a look at them first. Do not be hypnotized by the scholarship from NYiT, it really is true most students get it. I say most because I do not know all the students on campus or their status, but all of my fellow students do receive some sort of scholarship. There is so much confusion within the program, there's is no consistency, and unfortunately, something you will never be able to change is the fowl personalities of the faculty. I am baffled by the lack of interest in our future and status in the program. The list goes on. It is quite unbelievable that what I am saying can be true, right?

If you must attend, which I still do strongly NOT advice, apply for additional scholarship. It is your best bet to try and save some money. Obviously many will still come to the school so I would like to equip you with some tactics to survive an experience you will try to forget but will haunt you until the day you leave. Below I have provided a link for a scholarship request form, give it a try, current students as well. has changed me. I has made me hardened and cold. The school drives you to a bi-polar like state, where one minute you are content and the next you are utterly furious. I do not have any more to say. Stay away, good luck and to the current students, I commend you, It's been a bumpy mother fucking ride.
