NYIT is a University with lot of possibilities.Quite BrightEngineering Department
NYIT is a University with lot of possibilities. Faculty members are friendly and helpful. The tuition is pretty affordable for a private university. This fall will be my first semester. I hard some of my friends who went NYIT were pretty happy with education quality. It is just a matter of how well you can absorb the education.

I graduated from NYIT in 2005, while attendingQuite BrightNursing
I graduated from NYIT in 2005, while attending I found the staff and faculty to be very helpful. I am able to compare the education I received at NYIT to many other nursing grads from other universities and I must say that I am proud to announce that I am a graduate of NYIT. I want to say thanks to all my professors, the knowledge gained has made me a competent, effective and proficient nurse.

First off; I'm both surprised and not surprisedBrightFine Arts - Painting/Sculpture/Photography/etc
First off; I'm both surprised and not surprised about the negative feeback NYIT is getting. I am a freshman majoring in Graphic Design and I gotta say, for a school focusing on TECH(the arts. science, architecture..) there sure are a handful of (clueless? oblvious? ...ignorant?) students majoring in business, criminal justice and english. Why? I don't know. The lattering departments listed aren't exactly well known or from my knowledge---well developed, and what's more, the tuition at NYIT isn't exactly....nice....soo...why people are at NYIT, majoring in business when they could be spending less money at a community college "doing the same thing"---I have no idea. No idea at all.

So, what about my experience? I bet you're just dieing to know. =) Well, it was really "fun", honestly---and when I say fun, I mean I was challanged, I struggled, I did my assignments to the best of my abilities, and at the end I got a satisfaction (some degrees more than others) out of my work. So, bottom line: I did quite well and it was worth the time spent. Final verdict: If you are seeking a major that NYIT FOCUSES on (Architecture, Art, Science, Communications) then I suggest applying and checking this place out! If not...why are you here?
