If you want a career in culinary or pastry arts then this is not the school to go to. The cirruiulium is short and east and depending on which instructor you are assigned, not very informational. The only thing that i truly learned a great deal was in my internship (which by the way there is only one). your better off going somewhere somewhere more professional for a culinary career like the institute of culinary education or the french culinary institute because the people i have met in the field from those schools were much more educated in the field and had much better work ethics than me or most of the people i went to school with. Also, the carrer advisors are hard to get in contact with and not very willing to help you once they have only placed you in one job. My boyfriend has been trying to get in contact with his she told him to call back in february and so he did and guess what i think shes avoiding him at this point. oh yeah and another thing...there are not really flexable class schedueles like they said in the commercial. one semister i had to go to night class where i didnt get out until 11 pm and the next day had to show up for class at 7:30 not to mention i have a 2 hour commute by public transportation. For my next career i will be a lot wiser in choosing my school. its good to see a site like this exists!
