The only thing about NYSID is that it's not like a proper college - there are no dorms, and NYC rent is through the roof. You'll easily pay $2,000 / month for a 1-bedroom. There also aren't any clubs other than American Society of Interior Designers. NYSID is for someone who really wants to be absorbed in / by interior design. The carreer-placement is awesome.
