It's so overpriced it's retarded i could have went to a state school for free but I was scammed by them into thinking there was something there, and it was a huge waste of time and money. I also hated 90% of the people there. I'm now in med school and can tell you NYU had absolutely nothing to do with that. I studied and learned on my own because lectures were terrible and useless, studied for the MCAT and figured out what I had to do to get into med school on my own, and most of the kids that were with me in pre-med didn't get in anywhere. And now that I'm in med school i really regret ever going there because UNDERGRAD DOESN'T MATTER JUST GET GOOD GRADES WHEREVER YOU GO TRUST ME I MADE THE MISTAKE AND NOW I'M PAYING FOR IT. People are not as intelligent as I thought they would be. It is really disappointing to see all the GSP, Gallatin, Nursing, Stein, SCPS students who simply don't belong here. I don't feel challenged even though I'm taking orgo and physics together. atmosphere is somber and morose: always raining. Walking is draining. Ppl, just sickening. I feel so thoroughly disappointed in NYU that it almost sickens me to think that I wanted to come here. It is too big, overwhelming, elitist, and overrated. This website says it all: look at all of the negative comments and take them into consideration before you come here. Go somewhere, anywhere else but here. Please trust us.
