 | Not so bright | Words can't explain how much I love NYU! My freshmen year semester was admittedly a little rough and I entertained the idea of transferring but boy am I glad that I stayed. Best decision of my life! I've been on various NYU study abroad programs where I met my best friends and my girlfriend. NYU isn't college. It's real life, real people. That's the easiest way I can sum it up. If that sounds horrible to you go to state school. However, if you give it a chance and some time you will see that it's honestly the best place on earth! | Education Quality: A+, Individual Value: D- | | | |

| | Quite Bright | | Not to be redundant, but along with what basically everyone else has said, if the sound of a traditional college repulses you NYU is a perfect option. NYU is considered "second tier" ivy (even though I personally think it's on par if not better then most ivies) and we send out some of the most prepared and accomplished graduates in the world. Don't let anyone tell you anything differently, because the numbers and list of alumni speaks for itself. Sure you have to be a little grown up to live here. You have to be responsible and unlike other college students you can't pass out on a quad late at night or leave your stuff lying around. You have to be street smart, but that certainly doesn't mean NYUers are uptight douche bags. We love having fun and partying too and there is definitely nooo better place on the entire planet to spend your college years then in the middle of New York City. That being said, be warned: you either have to either befriend people in your hall, be super outgoing, or get involved to make friends here. Friends do not come easily to people. If you are shy, introverted, or easily intimidated you might have a difficult time here. Just giving you a heads up! Also, don't be a nature lover and definitely don't expect any keggers! We don't go to college, we go to NYU. And that right there folks is the reason why NYU is so amazing. | University Resource Use: A+, Individual Value: D- | | | |
