I came to NYU thinking that I wouldQuite BrightChemistry
I came to NYU thinking that I would be unhappy without a campus, but Manhatten, especially Greenwich Village and Washington Square Park, is the campus. I walk the streets of Greenwich Village at 3 AM wearing slipper and boxers. It's easy to forget that I'm not in my living room...even though every other street corner smells like death. Also, my dorm this year kicks aish...28th floor with crazy room overlooking the Brooklyn Bridge...yea!

Not a very healthy environment.Quite BrightAnthropology
Not a very healthy environment. The faculty and the students have no regard for one another. It's a dog eat dog kind of place much like New York. Very lonely, hostile atmosphere. The university is more concerned with furthering funding and admission than catering to their present student body. I feel exploited.

Question
New York City is the best city onSuper BrilliantBusiness - Management and Administration
New York City is the best city on the planet. . . an indisputable fact. So what reason could someone possibly have to not love school in Manhattan, mind you, the greatest part of Manhattan?? There are so many people at this school that you would have to try especially hard to not fit in. The diversity here is incomparable, there is no college experience quite like the one that you'll recieve from NYU; it extends beyond classroom learning. At first, I'll admit, it does seem like a huge, scary place, but anyone ready to truly mature and grow beyone the "keg party" scene will fall in love with NYU if they give it a chance. And as far as the "no campus" thing. . . .who needs a tree with some grass when you're in NEW YORK CITY??
