I just graduated OCCC and just transfered to a four year college.Occc is a great school to get ready for a four year college. The teachers are great and you will definitely come out prepared for work at ANY school afterward. If you were an average student in high school, but now are taking school seriously,go to Occc , work hard, get a high GPA, and then transfer to a fine school like Suny Binghamton, if you are not the Suny type, then go to another top school, like a UMAss or Drexel.I guess my point is, that OCCC is a gateway to a really great school,if you didnt do so well in high school. Also at the end you will at least have an associates, which will open some doors, if you wish to stop there.Good luck!

Quite Bright
I am a cultural anthropology major who truly enjoys learning. Orange County Community College (now refered to as SUNY Orange,) has been a sincere delight to attend. It is a challenging school with helpful, dedicated teachers and diverse and interesting courses. The school has a competive body of students, but not so much that one feels overwhelmed or ill-prepared. Attending SUNY Orange requires commitment and hard work, as it's policies on everthing from English to Math to attendence are strict. The guidelines set up by the faculty and staff seem sometimes harsh, but they are really in place to help the students out as much as possible.
