 | Quite Bright | I was a transfer freshmen to Pace University NYC in Fall 2012. Yes, I said "was". My parents, relatives and friends could not agree more with my departure from that rat hole. It all begun with me being a business major and wanting to go to NYC for a good college with a large internship program. So I transferred from the community college I attended to Pace Uni. Once I got to Pace as a student I experienced and saw unbelievable treatment from the facility and students. I should call this treatment "harassment". Students would slam the door in my face pretty often and the staff members were the same. The professors did not like anyone who they thought came from any decent background. They did everything they could to try and make the student fail. So if you're trying to improve yourself DON'T GO HERE. They will hate you with a passion for have any value system in your life. I found out after being at the school awhile, most of people there were functioning drunks and druggies and that is the only thing that is accepted at Pace University. I saw first hand the mismanagement of the roommate evaluation forms. As an effect of that, I was stuck in the room with 2 drunks. They came in drunk 9 out of 10 times. We had nothing in common; honestly, Why was I in the room with them? Everyone else complained about their roommates also except the 2nd floor (under that was the lobby. Basically, they got tired of places compatible roommates together after the first floor of students. And I am security had sex with the students, since they were always flirted with each other in an ill-mannered way. One word of advice; VISIT THE SCHOOL BEFORE YOU GO! And parents you'll understand why I said "NEVER EVER SEND YOUR CHILDREN TO THE UNIVERSITY". | Perceived Campus Safety: A-, Education Quality: F | | | |

| | Bright | Not worth it and most definitely overpriced. Came here because it was a "great business school". I've found many of my courses to be useless along with many professors. My Corporate Finance class was a complete reiteration of the intro. course you take your first year, not to mention the professor got fired in the middle of the semester (she was flat out lost) and then replaced with someone of basically the same caliber; I'm chalking that course up as a loss in terms of gained knowledge. OSA is the worst operation at this place and makes you wanna scream at the thought of having to go there. Financial Aid always has a problem and always needs something else from you, nothing ever gets done the first time, or second, or third...The administration overall seems to do their jobs with no sense of care or urgency. I didn't find that there was much direction either in terms of sequencing courses throughout each semester, it was more like here's what you have left pick 5! All the buildings are OUTDATED, nothing pretty to look at, the library is so depressing you don't even want to utilize the study space with NO OUTLETS (finding one is like playing the lotto) dorms are gross and only recently got wireless internet in 2011! The "fitness center" is another disappointment, which you will be utilizing being that your ridiculous overpriced meal plan better be spent because they take what you don't, so eat what you can, buy your mom detergent and paper towels, just frigging spend it on yourself so they don't do god knows what with it (they could buy a gallon of paint or some flowers!)The social aspect of it is a complete wash, huge commuter school. A majority of students don't have class on Fridays so Thursday nights everyone disappears and drives home for the weekend, so enjoy whoever decided to stay because they had to and maybe hit up the 2 bar scene. Dope. Don't waste your time. | Perceived Campus Safety: A-, Social Life: F | | | |

| | Bright | The school is not as bad as some people say. It is a good enough school to help land you good job and be sucessful. I can't speak for the other departments but 90% of the professors from Lubin are great, have experience, and taught me so much. Pace hepled me land an internship for next semester and you need internship experience to help you land a good job. Pace has a great internship prgram and many banks and accounting firms recruit from Pace. Since its hard getting a job these days i would recomend this school because its surrounding city gives you a lot of opportunities, the school had connections with many companies. and the classrooms are small so you get a lot of the professors attention. If you put in he work here you can be sucessful | Surrounding City: A+, Useful Schoolwork: D- | | | |
