Pace was a really positive experience for me. It's pretty cheap for a Manhattan school and as an international student, I felt at home pretty quickly. They have an amazing ELI program for students who need to level up their English skills before entering the undergraduate program. This ELI program had very understanding and nice teachers, always there to help a NYC newbie. The English department at Pace is not big but some teachers are actually amazing. I had 3 or 4 teachers that I will remember forever both for their knowledge and for their innovative spirit in the classroom. I dreaded the middle English class and it was one of my most memorable moments throughout my school years. Anyways, of course Pace has its problems (super slow and rude administration, small dorms, expensive tuition...) but it still has been a great experience for me and the location downtown is very cool :D

I wasn't very excited to go to Pace but after the experience I had with professors and internship opportunities, I wouldn't change it for the world. Professors really helped me understand and apply class material to the real world, which allowed me to land several job offers prior to graduation. Coop is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I now say with great pride that I graduated from Pace and had amazing professors who not only taught me, but mentored me as well.

I enjoy Pace, it is extremely underrated because it is in a city filled with other great schools. I do not have much experience outside of the Lubin Dual Degree program with Dyson but from my observation the Business students get most of the attention in a way. I was offered admission to other NYC schools that are considered "better" by most people.. but my education at Pace is unique and priceless in my mind. The only negative thing about Pace is that it's student population can be whiny and annoying because they feel they deserve better, and we do, but we are no worse than any other school. Granted I see that there is a problem with communications between the departments but courtesy goes a long way. I find most of the staff and faculty respond to the students the way the student react to them . I find my coursework challenging and strangely enough interesting and constantly entertaining...

I love my school and it makes me sick that it is so underrated and under appreciated . I enjoy my time here! and I am excited by the opportunities that are ahead of me. Just know this... you get from Pace what you put into Pace.
