Sullivan county community college should be called sullivanAverageCriminal
Sullivan county community college should be called sullivan county correctional facility ! omg
the dorms are nasty , the bathrooms are dirty
the rooms have bad odor to them and everybody is a weed head !
this is not a party school so if you think you are coming here and your going to enjoy it -__- boy save yourself !

its boring the place is crawling with drug dealers , nasty mean females , and nasty perverted basketball players , you get no sleep , and security sucks !

the surrounding area you need ,need , need transportation , it snows alot , and the school as a whole reminds me of a high school with dorms , now I know your probably like oh this person is bitter but I was trying to make the whole experience positive but there is nothing bright about this place, it was so bad that even the security guard quit ! and faculty told me I'd do better in a more larger environment, nothing but ghetto people , and people trying to get out of the hood , save yourself ! as far as classes I loved them the teachers were nice and understanding , but noo stay away from this hell hole !

Question
In 20 years of my life, I haveAverageUndecided
In 20 years of my life, I have never attended a more poorly run, violent, miserable excuse of an institution than SCCC. First and foremost, Your so-called "academic advisers" are not trained to properly advise anyone. Since I first attended SCCC in the fall of 08, I had been slated for graduation 3 different times only to find out at the last second that due to an error on behalf of my adviser, I was ineligible for graduation. When I presented my issue to the dept. chairperson, I was told that this happens to students every single semester and that I will not be the last person this happens to. Furthermore, nothing could be done to rectify the issue. Secondly, the professors in general all seem to carry around this unprofessional arrogance in that they are flawless and are doing you a favor simply by showing up for each class. Seeing them for help outside of class is also a hassle as (at least in my experience), they are seldom in their office during posted office hours. Even if you manage to catch professors in their office, they are quite cold and really just make you feel stupid for bothering them while they have so much work to do. This condescending attitude is bliss in SCCC while the social life is no better. Socially speaking, SCCC is full of your garden variety of high school cliques who taunt and bully students mercilessly knowing full well that the faculty doesn't give a damn. Being in the student union does truly bring back an aura of being in middle school with all of the overwhelming immaturity. Even If you grades were dirt poor in High School, avoid this college like the plague that it is

Question
Campus security is aQuite BrightCommunications
Campus security is a joke and quite dangerous. Several deaths during my time on a campus of under 1500 students is very bad. Drug problem, gang problem and apathy of the staff do not make for a good college.
