Question
I absolutely love St.BrightBiology
I absolutely love St. Lawrence, but that is because it is the perfect school for me. The campus is beautiful, the meaning of liberal arts is taken seriously, and the professors are very helpful. For being the most expensive school in the state of New York and being in the poorest county, the community is great if you like being involved. If you're a partier, you'll fit in well here. If you like to do other things on weekends, you'll do well here too, as long as you don't rely on the town of Canton for fun. As with any rural school, fun must be created by the student body, and most often, that happens!

I highly recommend this school, and if you're interested in the slightest, at least pay a visit. I travelled 3,000 miles for a middle of the winter visit to SLU and I now call myself a proud Laurentian! PS, the food at the main dining hall is REALLLLLLLY good for college food! Family style, lots of organic, some local foods, always vegetarian options, many non-cafeteria like options. Really feels like home.

Question
Completely unapproachable president and dean of students.AverageUndecided
Completely unapproachable president and dean of students. When we tried to make appointments with either of them over a serious issue with our son being grossly mistreated, neither could find the time to speak to us in person. We requested appointments over a six month period. The only communication with us were letters asking for donations. This school is fairly good at academics but is extremely overpriced. The administration is sorely lacking in leadership and political skills. Watch as the donations begin to slow down severely with this new president. He, as a former SLU student, should know that the kind of treatment he gave us as a family will certainly be reciprocated in kind and that families of SLU students are also messengers to their communities and these communities have large networks.
