The quality of faculty in the History Department is outstanding - they really care about teaching and they are experts in their fields.

I enjoyed a wonderful social life there too with people who were supportive and engaging.A History degree is a harder sell in the employment marketplace, but I find that I use many skills learned at Brockport in my work - especially writing.

I think it is a great place and very affordable due to the merit scholarships they give to qualified students!

Thereshould be a high school program that has students look at the job market/trends before entering college. The faculty at the psy. department does very littl to prepare/ help you after graduation. There is very little knowledge of nor communication by the faculty between human services departments (undergrad to grad; psych., counseling, and social work). Classes are generally good at best.
