I failed out and went back to SUNY Albany another shool I do not recommend. I finally graduated from NYU as a CFP(r) and plan to finish my masters in Financial Planning in 2006. I am not lazy and scored a 1200 on the SAT. However, when making the decision to go away to college I highly recommend the you take into consideration the location. The weather is very bad in the winter at times, and although students are friendly I found that most people stayed with in their circle of friends. Friendliness: A-, Social Life: C- Have a Question? There is lots of hands on work, and every one of the professors I've had has been excellent. These people have had real-life experience and know their stuff. The campus here is gorgeous, that's one of the things I liked about it the most. As for the night life, i'm not one to party too hard, but it's not that difficult finding somewhere to go. If you're used to a small-town environment, Oneonta is very comfortable, not too big and not too small. If you're coming from a big city, though, could be a little weird for you adjusting to small-town life. Education Quality: A+, Surrounding City: C+ Have a Question?
