School of Business sucks.... People in the department are not help full. All the Secretary are horrible. They are not willing to help. They don't let you see the advisors. Also, school of business has only one true advisor, Prof. Fiener. Everyone else doesnt know anything. I truly dislike those secretaries...they should get fired, specialy the one who sits infront of Prof. Fiener's office. That lady let me tell you is not wiling to help at all, all she care about is her facebook. She doesnt wana help. Her goal is not to let you see your advisor and she doesnt care even if it effects your graduation date.
nothing to do night-life wise, if you dorm here and are white you will be an extreme minority. it just seems as if this campus is in some kind of time lapse, where everything is slower and painful.
This college is so TERRIBLE.
My high school teachers were more knowledgeable and helpful than the professors here at OW.
Most of the students here look shady and dirty
Most of the students who dorm are from Brooklyn and Queens that are poor and are on their EOP program-no wonder why mad people steal shit on this campus. The President of the school is friends with Al Sharpton..nuff said Trust me, don't go here...im leaving after this semester
Old Westbury is a completely ghetto school. I reccommend it to people who barely made it out of high school and would like to find somewhere to go. The courses are very easy which barely require any concentration. The professors are pretty friendly and are willing to help, however. Campus life at the school is somewhat segregated and, quite frankly, it is like a big high where everyone sleeps over... Getting on and off campus is time consuming if you don't have a car whether you dorm or not plus the entire campus may be difficult to navigate.
