I was so happy during the advantage day and everything. Then came move in day and there came my first problem. My roommate didn't match the requirements I asked in the roommate request survey at all! There's nothing to do at all! Even after you join clubs and etc. The town is so boring, no type of fun. If you want to have fun, you have to go out to Oneonta which is about 30minutes away! The parties aren't so fun. They're the same over, and over and over again in these small houses. A lot of people smoke! If you find anyone who doesn't smoke, its like a miracle! Food is gross majority of the time. It's only good if there is an event going on. The work and professors aren't so bad. They want you to succeed and prosper. Overall, I wish I had been able to stay the night in Delhi, because I wouldn't be there at all. I plan on transferring after this semester. Oh and if you're an active person who would like to get up and go to a movie, bowling, mall, like to see people and more, this college isn't for you. Food suck, parties are ass, there are about 700 girls here and 75% of them look like farm animals. I beg of you DONT NOT COME TO THIS SCHOOL, they will take anyone just for the money. I get billed every other weekend for random bullshit that the RA's feel they can get money out of. this school was the worst choice i ever made....S.O.S Education Quality: B, Faculty Accessibility: F Have a Question? It's a Great program and will increase your welding capabilities by 100%. My welding teachers, Mr.Mignier and Mr.Sheck are the coolest teachers that anyone can wish for in college. They're understanding in many ways and if you have a personal conflict and need advice at all, they are like fathers to some of us. The other teachers are all great and very helpful. My particular program is quite easy and gives you plenty of free-time. The campus life is okay. The kids here are either from long-island or from upstate, sometimes causing a little conflict. ( i guess yankee boy vs northern farm boy?) Anyway, the campus itself is beautiful and the maintenance is great. The food here is like any college, it's food and if your hungry or drunk, it's sufficient enough. If your coming here looking to score drop dead woman, then Id suggest you go to a different school. Most of the hot woman here, which can be counted on your fingers, either have boy friend or someone there dating in the school. Every party you go to is usually a sausage fest, meaning they're all guys. We have frats and most of them are cool but they do get pricey. Sometime charging a price of 20 bucks to get in a door to drink. Meanwhile 3 hours later the copes come and you get kicked out. The town itself is no longer then a half a mile long and doesn't have much to offer. The Mc.Donalds up here closes at like 9 o clock, 7 days a week, so if your looking for a late night snack, your better off of buying some groceries. The university police are ball breakers and shut down parties and are very quick to jump on you for the little wrong doings. Campus Aesthetics: A+, Scholastic Success: F Have a Question?
