The campus is great. Too many extra curricular activities.
Many Clubs and event happening on Campus. Good food service, wont complain. The events and clubs will keep you going and busy. The athletics department is great, and the only reason this university is still going. If you are an athlete would recommend to look into this university, but just for the sport not for the academic.

People are friendly, all different student get along very well. The campus is a little outside town, so have peace and a little country side effect to it.

But at an academic point of view, probably one of the worst university. There has been too much politics between deans and president and people involved; so have lost many of the good professors(the only reason the students like the university).

The university view's students as customers and constantly finding ways to rip them off. One of the main reason I would say is the president, Wolf Yeigh, he is just looking for money. And this is not just coming from me, most of the students have this view for him. He is not available for students nor is the vice president and other high ranking officials. (He was sitting in his office this one time when students went to him, we all saw him going in, and the secretary outside his office says, "he is not in and won't be in till next week."; And we never got to talk to him)

Some of the faculty is helpful no doubt, but some of the faculty is not that helpful.
Some professors are just prejudice, your grade depends on your race and not your performance. One of such faculty is Robert Yeh.

If you are an undergrad and had no prior knowledge of the school system, I wouldn't recommend this university, unless you know a undergrad before you and will help you figure out courses and stuff and you should get an adviser who would help you (have to be lucky). Overall wont recommend this university, even if you don't have choice this semester, wait for one semester, off-course if you are looking forward for bright future. Or just wanna have fun, choose this university.

Quite Bright
I'm an adult student who previously attended a Major University. SUNYIT is way more student friendly. No TAs teaching classes, never had a class with over 25 students. Great value for the money, they really push information about internships and summer jobs. I've been really pleased overall and reccommend it to anyone.
