Syracuse University was just rated as the number 2 Architecture school for undergrads in the country. This is a very serious school and if you plan on playing around in college, this is not the place for you. Your fellow students will push you in ways you could not imagine. It is also a strong alumni group who will help you find a job once you finish.

I came to Syracuse University from California. At first, I though this place would be boring and sad with regards to the weather. After almost two months staying here, I love this place. The campus is beautiful and the set up is great. The people here are in general pretty nice and inviting. Two classes that I am taking have many people in them. Fortunately, I have recitation classes taught by TAs who know their material on the side. Overall academics here are very good especiall at Maxwell, Newhouse, and Whitman.

I havent had the time to explore the Syracuse too much because my transportation is limited. However, their are usually buses that can take you anywhere. Around campus their usually movie showcases or club meetings that provide entertainment and interest. Furthermore, the games at the Carrier Dome are fun to watch even though the team is so so. Lastly the party scene here is pretty wild. There are many house, frat, and sport house parties going on. In the end, I am happy that I came here instead of UC back home or CSU or USC.

People are so brilliant here it's almost scary. Sometimes I feel as though I do not belong because I'm around nothing but geniuses but I'm happy i received the opportunity to be here.
