-5 Stars if thatEducation
-5 Stars if that was an option. Waste of money. I transferred into the school and that was my biggest mistake. The professors, faculty and staff just want your money all $55k of it a year. They do not care of you. your education, or future. Don't even apply!!

Lots of rich kids who have clearly neverBrightComputer Engineering
Lots of rich kids who have clearly never had to work for anything. Drugs are everywhere. In my experience the advising staff is thoroughly apathetic about students. Professors are often the same way. Some won't even respond to emails or talk to students after class. Scheduling classes or selecting housing is a nightmare, especially for underclassmen. I was behind before I even arrived because the university had me as the wrong major and locked me out of classes. The only good thing about Syracuse is the Department of Public Safety. Officers are very friendly and I've never heard of any violent crime on campus. All in all, it's probably a good choice if you're a rich grad student who can blow 60k a year. Otherwise, not so much. Transferring out after this year.

Horrible, the students, the teachers, even the peopleOther
Horrible, the students, the teachers, even the people who work as staff such as maintenance. Everyone here is a complete waste of space. Especially the sorority and fraternity. Everyone is so cliquey here even worse than high school. And believe me it gets pretty cliquey. Jesus Christ even the clubs are unfriendly and put off a demeanor of not wanting you there. I've never been to a more unwelcoming, self-doubting, un-friendly, just all out rude campus where people are not helpful and the curriculum is horrible. There are classes that you can easily get at a much cheaper school. Way over-priced and FOR WHAT!!! PAYING FOR THE NAME-well guess what not anymore, SU has gone downhill. The food is over priced and the clubs will rip off your funds, it seems here at SU any chance to improve my situation and take ten steps forward, I get pushed back 50. This is not a healthy environment and I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.....please stay away. :(
