Super Brilliant
To talk about Trocaire's nursing program with nothing but disgust is fair. To start first semester instructors are nice. I don't mind a challenge. But you have to deal with nothing but demeaning instructors after first semester. There were the few that were fair and professional but the rest if them are very unprofessional and demeaning to the students. It was a horrible experience. FYI the only students who have anything nice to say about trocaire' nursing program are usually the students that teachers favor!

I am in my third semester of nursing. I really do like the Rn program. The teachers are nice but do make you work hard. It's in a quiet area. People say there is no parking which isn't true. They have 3 parking lots and a shuttle that picks you up and takes you to the main campus. The campus in the north towns is nice (I did take a class there), a parking lot at the building, and a Tim Hortons next door. The labs are updated. The cafeteria food is Tim Hortons and Abbott pizza at certain times. Not opened all day. But for the most part I do like the program. I tell people who are thinking of going back to school to go to Trocaire. It is expensive but so are other universities. The only schools that are cheaper are community colleges. The class sizes here are smaller and the teachers really do want students to pass and will help if your struggling in any course. They do offer free tutoring.

Bright
Most of the faculty members are very pleasant and helpful, there are however those who take the attitude I'm the teacher and I know everything and you know nothing, but, those professors are very few !Fianance deptartment is fantastic and I do stress FANTASIC! They go the extra mile to help you achieve your financial goals. Some of the professors who have been there for many years are to set in their ways and are to arrogant to open their eyes to a new breed and a new generation who do not think like our parents and do not want to learn as they did.Overall most of the professors make learning fun and excitng and with a youthful approach.ther is always som one to help you understand any material you are having problems with (whether it be personal ,educational, emotional, financial)
