I immediately sought involvement in clubs and extracurricular activities, only to find that the club presence on campus was very half-hearted in comparison to my previous college- not to mention the fact that I couldn't attend any of the clubs I wanted, since most days I had class from early morning until late at night. While I greatly appreciate the opportunity this school gave me by allotting me a full scholarship (as there is no way I could afford to attend this school otherwise), I perceive myself as little more than a random number in a pre-med factory farm. As much as I work to get involved in campus life (I am currently co-president of a group on campus) and attain good grades, I ultimately remain unhappy with my college experience.
