 | | For all the rigor of USMMA academics, the real strength of Kings Point is in the character-building strength of its extra-curriculum. Unlike the self-preoccupation demonstrated by many undergraduates at "normal" colleges, midshipmen learn early on to both recognize that stress is not something to be feared. Rather, by the end of Plebe year, the average Kings Pointer has discovered resources upon which he/she will draw during the decades ahead. | Preparedness: -, Reputation: - | | |

| | Quite Bright | | For high school students considering USMMA, challenging (AP-level) math and science courses are extremely helpful. Although the academy does not accept AP scores, familarity with calculus and advance Physics will help you a great deal in your freshman year. The education midshipmen receive at Kings Point is second to none. But what makes this institution unique is the character that it instills in its student body. In general, you'll find the typical Kings Point graduate a very positive, energetic, 'can-do' type of person.I currently have a very satisfying carreer with a major aero-space defense contractor, and at the same time I've built a small real-estate empire valued at roughly 7 million dollars. I credit Kings Point for most of this. A common sentiment held by many of my classmates is, "If I can graduate from this place, I can do anything!". | Starting Job: Nuclear Engineer, Preparedness: A+, Reputation: A | | |

| | Quite Bright | Known as the Navy's best kept secret, Kings Point is probably the most unique of the five service academies. Not only can you be commissioned into any of branch of the military after graduation, but you can also choose to go into the maritime industry. Not to mention, tuition and board is totally covered by the government. However, be ready to work hard the first year and make sure you want to be here. Other than that, I have no regrets and I highly recommend taking a good look at this place. | Collaboration/Competitive: A, Social Life: C | | | |
