I was music major. I left the school a year and a half into my studies. Don't come here if you want to study music. Almost every other class outside of my music courses was a complete distraction from my real focus. There are some excellent professors, but the majority are just hacks completely blinded by their own achievements. The campus security resembles the gestapo, checking your room and taking anything they deem unfit to be in the dorm at random times. They inspired so much fear in me that I ended up living out of my truck in the parking lot, entertaining myself by reading and radio. There is no social life out side of the cliques, just boredom. If your not rich, forget about visiting the city. Finally, I refused to go any further into debt, and left the school, leaving behind me 2 years of my life that I could have spent working and self educating. I now go to another school to become an auto mechanic, none of my credits transferred. Wagner was a spirit crushing experience for me, and I now have little faith in our schools. One last tidbit, not that I have anything against gay people, but after 2 years of being surrounded by them, a straight man like myself was riddled with sexual frustration. I try very hard to forget about Wagner, but something about the vast emptiness I felt after I went there will never leave me. My will to learn has turned to bitterness, and I will never study music again.

this school is kinda tricky....some people really like it, some complain but still like it, and some really dont like it at all...

CONS: small, clicks, theater program homosexuals, football team and lax team idiots, sports teams alll suck ass, staten island(but i dont even feel like i am on it because of the campus)Pros: NYC (i use it all the time for sports games, concerts and more), education is pretty good, decent party school (bars, on campus frats, lax and hockey house), decent student body. The campus is sooo nice

I can honestly say that the year I spent at Wagner College was the worst year of my entire life. I would have much rather taken a year off and then applied to another school than to have attended Wagner. The school is a BIG waste of money. It is not worth your money. While I was able to create great relationships with perhaps one or two professors, the faculty overall is terrible. The professors did not know what they were talking about. I learned everything from my textbooks and whenever I had a question, I was given a random, uneducated answer. What surprised me the most was the inability of the professors (who have Ph.Ds, somehow) to answer the simplest of questions. As a pre med student, I honestly wasted my time, energy and money. The students are also very childish and highly arrogant. Wagner seems like a high school, because everyone acts like they are still in high school. If I were given the option to spend a single day at Wagner or to go to prison,I would take the latter option very happily.
