I just want to warn people not toQuite BrightNursing
I just want to warn people not to go to Ashland University - nursing program in Mansfield.
I used to be student there, so I know all insight. If you decide to attend this school be prepared to kiss everyone's butt, and if you speck up about abuse they will charge tuitions and kick you out of the program. HORRIBLE school. "professors" told me in my face "YOU SHOULD NOT BE A NURSE" really? I NEVER asked for "professional " opinion. They HATE people who is different, so my friend with black skin had to take all exams 2 times (during entire 1st semester), because faculty did not believe that she pass exams on her own. 1st grade was counted only. I was never abused in my life. I learn there how is this like to be abused. HATE this school. I plan to write formal complaint to BON in OHIO when I pass my nclex.I am not really looking for opinions I just want somebody to have good school experience, nursing school is hard but NO ONE should be abused. I was terrifies and scared. I was disrespected and humiliated multiple times by my clinical instructor. I had to deal with PTSD for about 2 years. I had to see professional doctor to get medications to overcome this bad memories. I few weeks I will pass my NCLEX write formal request for investigation and close this page of my life.

If you expect Ashland University to help youAccounting
If you expect Ashland University to help you or do anything for you other than call and ask for money every few months after you graduate then you're in for a huge disapointment. For going to a school for four years and spending more than $100K, I'd expect more from anyone doing Business let alone a School that brags about how important their alumni are to them.

I would highly suggest you pick a differentQuite BrightNursing
I would highly suggest you pick a different college. The nursin faculty is a bunch of ditzy women who have NO idea what they are doing. They wil chane your schedule without notice so you loose work hours and they could care less. They fail to acknowledge their mistakes and take responsibility for their carelessness. One year a faculty member "forgot" to unlock half of the student accounts so that they could register for classes in time. This in run made us unable to get into certain classes and times that we had wanted. They are using us guinea pigs!! The administration only cares about money!! They hike up tuition every year! Also, there is nothing to do on campus. If you happen to know a lot of people off campus you can have a good time but other than that it's pretty pathetic. I would never ever ever recommend AU to anyone!!! If only I could transfer! I'm stuck in this fiery hell they call Ashland University Nursing for two more years. Wish me luck.
