Cedarville has strong academics, a commitment to truth, and a family-like atmosphere. The rules that are in place are stricter than a public university, but are reasonable, and don't cross the line over into legalism. The required Bible minor includes some amazing classes that really encourage you to think about what you believe, and academically strong students can apply for the Honors Program which consists of Honors courses that take an interdisciplinary look at philosophy, history, and the arts. It's not a perfect university, and the people here aren't perfect either, but I believe I will graduate with a good, solid education, a lifetime of good memories, and a firm foundation on which to build the rest of my life.

I am a recent graduate of Cedarville and I must say that as I look back over my 4 years I was truly blessed to attend such an incredible university. Not only have I been challenged academically, I have been challenged spiritually as well. I have left Cedarville with a clear understanding of the gospel and what it means to be a servant of Christ. As I approach the "real world" I feel as prepared as I can be and the areas I am not prepared for I have learned that leaning on the Lord is the only clear solution. I am currently working in Cincy and as I started my job I realized that my eduaction at Cedarville has prepared me well for my job, and also for the mission field that I come into every day. Cedarville was an incredible experience for me! Some people would say that the University is great but that the surrounding area is little to be desired, but I found that because of the lack of industry we were able to make our own fun, and grow closer relationships because of that. I am thankful for the many friendships I have made at Cedarville and for the fact that I know they will last forever..... Cedarville has had a truly positive impact on my life.

I am an army brat, and have lived all over the world. I have found Cedarville to be a wonderful school that balances a very strong academic base with a strong Christian influence, something that I very much appreciate.

Cedarville is an academically challenging Christian University near Dayton, Ohio.
Cedarville provides an excellent opportunity for growing, innovative young minds to be stretched and challenged, resulting in well-educated, logically-thinking individuals ready to impact the world for Christ.
The required bible minor and daily chapels at Cedarville gives each and every student a well-developed Christian worldview.
I would encourage any students considering the school to visit.
The town is small and surrounded mostly by cornfields, but nearby Xenia, Beavercreek, Springfield, and Dayton provide an excellent environment for weekend and evening outings for students.
Technologically, Cedarville continues to present a leading-edge over other Christian schools.
My only comment for concerned students is that financial aid has historically been weaker at Cedarville than it is at other similar schools. On the whole, however, Cedarville has shown an increasingly promising interest in solving this problem, having boosted the scholarship award amounts for incoming students.
Additionally, there are many scholarships that students get after having attended the school for a year or two, particularly if they are academically successful in their department
