The teachers didn't care one bit about you, and I was ripped off by that school. I worked my butt off in many of my classes, and I averaged a C in the classes. In one class, the teacher lost all of my tests so I failed that course. The advisors didn't care about my situation and kept demanding that I would take these stupid high-school level classes. I wasn't even expected to graduate until 3 years later. I have learned absolutely nothing in the classes. All they do is talk about their personal lives and give you assignments when they don't even explain them. Yes this school is cheap, and I know why -- because the teachers are dumb and the curriculum is a waste of time. Before you go here, research the school more. It is like a Fraternity hazing - and most of the instructors could give a heck whether you succeed or not..it is all about the money. The program chair doesn't ever return emails or phone calls. She won't even look you in the eye when you speak to her (Wanda Dantzler). Very unapproachable. Then there is another instructor - Janet Beckemeyer who should flat out be fired. She doesn't know how to teach, doesn't use her class time well, and does not even care to try and give you the tools you need to succeed. She has a dreadful attitude when students ask questions and gets very defensive if she doesn't know the answers. Shows favoritism to her little pets - and flat out lies when it comes to grading practical reviews. I've had a ton of professors, and she is without a doubt - the absolute worse!!! There is only one teacher in the program who cares about her students - Lavon Moore - she knows her subject, motivates students and feels it is her mission to make sure we leave with all the proper tools....She is wonderful and when they talk about teachers who make a difference - she is one. She relies on her dwarf status to allow her to treat students poorly. DO NOT take this woman's class if you can help it. She goes out of her way to make students feel bad, and is not above sending long endless emails that have nothing to do with class. No one in my class learned anything!
