Chris Ward is the worst teacher ever. She relies on her dwarf status to allow her to treat students poorly. DO NOT take this woman's class if you can help it. She goes out of her way to make students feel bad, and is not above sending long endless emails that have nothing to do with class. No one in my class learned anything!

Cincinnati State is a very good school for anybody looking to further there education or for anybody just starting out in college. The ages of the students at Cincinnati State range from 17 to late fifties and all the students at Cincinnati State are there for one reason and thats to learn. The faculty are top notch and all are there to help you to first understand, then to learn. The faculty cares about the students.

The college itself is a two year school and all credits earned are transferable to all the local colleges. I don't know about anywhere else since I plan on staying in the greater Cincinnati area, but the credits do transfer to Xavier, Universtiy of Cincinnati and Miami University from my research. The cost of going to school there is very reasonable as Cincinnati State has one of the lowest tuitions in the state. It is a commute school as there is no on campus housing, at least that I know about. The school also has a great co-op program where they try and place everyone into a co-op job that not only will pay you in some cases, but will also teach you the real world and what it's like out there.

They have a decent JuCo mens basketball program and a couple of years ago, the womens team went to the JuCo final four or elite eight.

Fire and EMT/Paramedic training programs are the absolute worst! In a way it is sort of a relief that the faculty (management included) are not actually in a position where they might be required to save a life - scary

Almost all the professors are dedicated to quality teaching, although a few need to leave the profession entirely. I really enjoy attending this school! Books and instruction are mostly top-notch. School conveniently located within 5 min driving to Clifton area: restaurants, shopping, theatre, hospitals and park.
