Quite Bright
If you want an excellent LIBERAL ARTS education that will prepare you for whatever life throws at you, Denison is as good a place as you could want. Most, if not all, of the people I knew there 20+ years ago are happy, fufilled and when asked, will go out of their way to help a fellow Denidoo grad. I am sure the campus is different today without the frats being a significant part of campus life, but they were really out of control. I was back on campus a couple of years ago and literally ran into a former religion professor (it was dark and outside) that I had not seen in 20 years, we took one look at each other and instantly knew who each other was, and then talked for hours. I am glad to see that Denison uses its endowment to help offset tuition and provide merit scholarships. Many colleges of the same quality have larger endowments and don't spend a nickel on making education affordable.

Not so bright
Denison University's concerns are about money. You, as an individual represent a tuition check and nothing more. Denison goes out of its way to simply improve their bottom line. The living situation is horrible. The food horrendous and the social life restricted to alcoholics drinking in groups of 4 or 5 afraid to listen to any music.

Super Brilliant
Denison offers not only the best education money can buy- a strong liberal arts education- but also a myriad of extracurricular and internship opportunities. In addition, the alumni connections are strong.
