The people at FUS are generally close minded. Protestants are disparagingly referred to as "Prods" and there is no respect for other religions. Students are expected to tow the line and no critical thinking skills are fostered. Women are expected to be submissive to their husbands and to stay at home after they have children. The academics (if you are not a theology or philospohy major) leave much to be desired. While some college place too great of an emphasis on being "sucessful"FUS does not emphasize it enough. Some students treat the school as a four-year retreat. The school is also very cliquey...and some households are border-line cults.
