There are trends among the student body that may be subjectively attractive or unattractive in different aspects but though there are trends, there are also so many exceptions that its hard not to fit in honestly. Its a fun passionately Catholic atmosphere. No matter where you are in your faith life there are friends who want to help you grow. Overall, no university is perfect, but I'd say we're pretty close. The University is overall well rounded and the more well rounded it becomes in all aspects, the better it will be!! Education Quality: A+, Surrounding City: B- Have a Question? Quality, excellent education with top-quality professors that were there daily to assist in my education and eventually my job search as an grad-bound senior. The attention to detail from professors inside and outside the classroom made a WORLD of difference, something you don't get at bigger state schools, or even bigger Catholic schools. The faith environment has got to be another great aspect of the campus. FUS is THE leading Catholic university in the USA. Having numerous T.O.R. friars is an added benefit for spiritual guidance and direction. Franciscan develops the entire person- mind, body, and spirit and I believe that completely. I enjoyed the last 2 years much more then my first 2 years. If the school loosed up just a little bit and raised the academic standards some the school would be great. Franciscan is very much unique I don't think it could ever be recreated. Also the surrounding city is actually pretty fun, just have to be creative.
