College saved my life starting with LCCC whereSociology
College saved my life starting with LCCC where I learned HOW to be a student; where I awoke to the world beyond the merely personal and to the importance of understanding it.Every thing I have done in the course of a rich and interesting life together with the quality of inner life I rely upon while living it has its roots at Lorain Community College.

It has taken a good, long time toQuite BrightBusiness - Management and Administration
It has taken a good, long time to obtain a Bachelor Degree, but it is well worth it and I'm almost there. I met and stayed friends with people I have met in college. Going to school, part time takes a long time to do. But I'm sticking with it. My dream is to get a Doctorate Degree. I will be the first in my family just to get a Bachelor Degree and LCCC started me off towards that dream that is almost a reality.

I am a full-time mother and domestic engineer (housewife). I also live out of county which makes traveling a long distance harder to do.

LCCC is one of the best colleges toQuite BrightUndecided
LCCC is one of the best colleges to go to for a low cost and also a great education. At first i did not want to give it a chance because i was still at home and wanted to go off to a 4 year university after the first year the aspect has changed. I wish i could stay and continue my education here but they simply do no offer my major, forensic science. It is a great school to get some preliminaries done and really focus on what you would like to do with the rest of your life and your career. As the professors they are very friendly and very knowledgeable sometimes i feel like we are challenged more here than some of the other colleges that i here about. Also the people that go here are also very approachable, since it isn't a university or a party school most of the students here are actually focusing on their education and you can also make some really good friends while at it, as i have. I would recommend LCCC to anyone.
