THis is an awesome all-around university, despite the often negative connotations it is stereotyped by. For a medium-sized University, Miami offers many academic, and extracurricular opportunities. There are wonderful leadership programs available and ample chances for students to explore the world through class excursions, social roadtrips, and study abroad. The Western College program and the Architecture department have been extremely beneficial in shaping my diverse perspective of examining the world around me. Miami University is deffinitely a place where students are challenged by an ivy league education, and previlaged to many big school experiences.

I absolutely loved Miami.Quite Bright
I absolutely loved Miami. I would not have changed a thing (except to add some diversity). Miami at times does fulfill the stereotypes surrounding it, however, it does not take much to move beyond them. I have a group of friends from Miami that I will have for the rest of my life, and I have an education from a highly regarded university. I consider myself lucky to have attended.

There is the Miami stereotype: rich, snobby, pretty,BrightPsychology
There is the Miami stereotype: rich, snobby, pretty, Greek. It's funny though, because a lot of people do not think they fit that stereotype. Most people can find their niche at Miami. Although the Greek life is prominent, if you are not Greek (like myself) you can still find things to do. There are many organizations, club and intramural sports, music programs and religious groups to get involved in. The dining services people work very hard, and do very well (as good as college food could be I suppose!). The campus is beautiful, although there is construction a lot of buildings.
