I don't have a problem with the academics at OWU, but I hate how hellbent the administration is on busting students. Do not try to live your life if you come to this school, if they so much as smell burnt popcorn, they'll come into your room to look around. If you happen to enjoy an occasional joint, they will call the police immediately. One night my friend had taken a smirnoff ice from this smashed girl so that she wouldn't pass out in her vomit, and an RA busted him as he was throwing the bottle out.(contents still inside) bah, if you are an existentialist do not come to this school.

OWU has not provided me with the experienceQuite BrightPsychology
OWU has not provided me with the experience I had hoped for. I have found it difficult to get involved on campus and OWU has poor athletic facilities and little healthy food (considering there is only Chartwells on campus). It is also nearly impossible to live off campus if you're not a senior and the dorms are horrible. The SLUs are also disgusting and there are no sorority houses. There are no clubs around campus and the bars are filled with hick townies. Therefore, nightlife is defined by the fraternities and those few lucky seniors who live off campus; nightlife sucks. This school is also super clichy. Good luck finding quality people. OWU accepts almost anyone and is therefore filled with idiots. It's okay though, most drop out by sophomore year. The retention rate is horrible...I wonder why...The classes, however, are relevant and challenging and the professors are great for the most part.
