If Bacone College was truly a college that provided an education to American Indians in a Christian environment (which is the mission of Bacone) the problems that exist on the campus currently would not be going on. The president of Bacone College cares nothing about the American Indians, and nothing about the overall student body! He is condescending, arrogant, unapproachable, and publicly criticizes students, parents, faculty and staff. He needs to be gone! He enjoys having students arrested (by his SON that is also on the payroll), and then brags about it in meetings on campus! If I had known this 4 years ago I would not have wasted over $40,000 in student loans (that I cannot pay back because I cannot get a job with this worthless degree from Bacone). No one will hire a Bacone College graduate, because Bacone is not really a college nor university! The department of education needs to cease sending any money to Bacone and cease ASAP!!! Someone needs to look into the number of students that enroll at Bacone each semester, and see how many of them actually graduate. NOT VERY MANY. I was told more dropout each year than graduate!!!!!

I got a basketball scholarship to play there and it was the worst decision of my life.the classes there where just like high school.work load well there really wasn't any all you had to do was go to class.there is nothing to do and the environment you live in is just horrible.there is a "caf" but you can hardly call it that.the food is nothing but chicken an hamburgers...chicken dosnt not look like chicken.if you get a scholarship to go to this school it will kill your college experience an destroy your LIFE!!! DONT GO

The school is old and in dire need of repairs and updates. The school purchased an old motel they use for dorms and it is moldy. There are no closets because it was a motel. The pool has water with black chemicals in it which I consider a safety hazard. The food is not good. There are no activities just sports. No places to hang out. The internet rarely works. Not many electrical outlets in the room. They provide no desks. There are two full size beds in the room so it is cramped. The administration is not friendly and it is their way with no way. Most colleges allow you to withdraw within a week with no penalty. Bacone charges thousands if you withdraw on the first day of classes.
